General Job Description

Perform duties required to maintain current accounts, acquire new accounts, and develop new products for introduction into existing and new markets. The position requires performing various on-going tasks, as well as special projects in the following areas: Sales Support, Customer Service, Trade Show Support, New Product Development, and others, as required. Key duties include: create professional sales presentations; create and maintain sales follow-up databases; create graphs and charts using sales data as well as geographic and demographic information; handle consumer, customer and broker inquiries and requests; coordinate annual Trade Shows; and help proofread and edit new product labels and sales support materials. 
 
 

Sales Support
Prepare materials necessary for customer meetings and trade shows, including, but not limited to:

 

• Proposals
• Graphic representation of sales data
• Databases
• Catalog sheets
• Product samples
• Invitations
• Mail outs
• Information packets

 

Identify key decision-makers and buying windows at target accounts. Initiate/coordinate follow-up correspondence as required by Sales Department. Communicate with and support broker network regarding material and information requests, sales follow-up, etc.

 

Customer Service
Handle incoming calls from customers and consumers. Read and respond to incoming consumer correspondence Maintain account files.

 

Trade Shows
Maintain annual Trade Show calendar. Complete registration packets and handle payments. Coordinate preparation, shipment, and set up of trade show booth. Provide list of participants and dates attending. Coordinate pre-show mail outs and post-show follow through. Prepare all products and sales materials necessary.

 

New Product Development
Research market to prepare competitive analysis. Competitive product pricing. Creation of new product labels. Creation of new product sales support material. Proofread/edit product labels, carton specifications, etc.

 

Minimum Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years experience in position requiring high level of organization skills, computer proficiency and direct customer contact preferred.
  • Demonstrated mastery of MS Office, Email, and Internet.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Diligence, superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

International Projects Coordinator
Sales & Marketing Group

 

General Job Description


Perform many of the duties described in Projects Coordinator job description (see above). Duties will focus on coordinating and assisting with our sales efforts in international markets, particularly Asia. Key duties will include: coordinating international cargo shipping logistics, creating all necessary international shipping documents, communicating with international customers, creating and maintaining databases; responding to consumer, customer and sales representative inquiries and requests; and processing Purchase Orders.

 

Minimum Job Requirements

   

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years experience in position requiring high level of organization skills, computer proficiency, and direct customer contact preferred.
  • One year experience in international shipping logistics.
  • Demonstrated mastery of MS Office, Email, and Internet.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Diligence, superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Multilingual a plus.
